Balancing esteem for the respected history of each of our publications with a businessman’s entrepreneurial eye, Atlantic Media consistently seeks new avenues of expansion for our brands through the development of stimulating events, key partnerships, and exciting products.

The Atlantic, with the Aspen Institute, annually gathers the nation’s intellectual leaders to debate those ideas currently provoking American thought as part of the Aspen Ideas Festival. Illustrative of our commitment to non-partisan political reporting, in 2008, The Atlantic will partner with its sister publication National Journal for the 2008 Conventions.

In 2006, National Journal Group entered the world of broadcast media, first launching the PBS program “Washington Week with Gwen Ifill and National Journal” and then partnering with MSNBC. This latter partnership only grew in 2007 as National Journal and NBC News proudly announced joint coverage of the 2008 Presidential Elections. Increasing this broadcast presence, “National Journal On Air with Linda Douglass” launched on XM Satellite Radio in September ‘07.

Government Executive will launch NextGov.com in 2008 to address the growing significance of the technology corridor on federal policy.
