Editorial Internship Opportunities

Atlantic Media Company's editorial internships offer college juniors and seniors as well as recent college graduates of all ages a unique opportunity to be involved in many aspects of the editorial process — from writing to editing, fact-checking to research.

The Atlantic
Interns gain hands-on exposure to the editorial processes of an award-winning magazine's editorial procedures. Atlantic interns aid in the review of submissions, assist with fact-checking for the magazine and website and participate in informational seminars with editors, writers, and members of the production and art department. Two internship sessions available: Summer/Fall (June - December) and Winter/Spring (January - June).

National Journal Group
Armed with a passion for politics, National Journal Group interns participate in a creative, fast-paced environment to learn the "behind-the-scenes" of political journalism, with the opportunity to write articles for publication. Internships are offered by National Journal magazine, The Hotline, and other National Journal Group titles. Three internship sessions available: Fall, Spring, and Summer.

Other editorial internships may be available.

Business-oriented internships with our marketing, events, and finance teams are offered on an as-needed basis. When open for applications, internships will appear on our list of Current Opportunities.

Internships are paid or with college credit awarded as allowed.
